LOVE IS BLIND

It was another boring evening I was returning from office waiting for my train at Ghatkoper (Mumbai) station. The station was crowded as usual and hundred of people running to catch their train. It was 6:15pm and there was announcement “slow train to Dombivili is arriving on platform no 1”.
The train was crowded but by luck I got into one compartment where one can comfortably stand. But I could sense there is something strange about this particular compartment, I was looking all around and then I realize that I got into compartment reserved for handicapped people.
I didn’t know what to do, so I started observing people around me. My eyes fixed on particular couple. A lady facing me was holding her husband in her arms. The man was about 45 yrs and most probably the lady would be around 35-36 yrs old. I could not see the man but he was wearing white shirt and black trousers. The lady was wearing a pink sari, with green and golden bangles in her hands and vermilion marked prominently on her forehead. I also noticed a beautiful titan watch in her hands.
She was wearing gold earring and mangalsutra, dressed up like a typical married Marathi lady. I was wondering why she is holding her husband like that, Is every thing fine with her husband? I was lost in my own thoughts and suddenly there was announcement “Next station Vikroli”.
The man unfolded his walking stick and I realized he could not see, he was blind. The lady followed him by holding his bag, she also could not see. But I could see their love.
