Handling Trouble @ trouble times..

Its very strange how human mind works.
Have you ever realized how your mind works in trouble times. Once I went for a lecture by his holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. His topic for lecture was "How to handle Trouble times in your life". The one and only one solution he gave was to remain Calm and cool. The more calm your brain is the more easily and quickly you will get rid of the trouble times.

All of us know this remedy but whether we follow this remedy in our daily lives .
Off late I started following this "Mantra" and believe me it works. It really really works wonder.  In our school syllabus  there was a poem which says "never get scared of any Problem..just think the way problem came by it own..it will go away itself". No one likes to be ignored not even our problems.
"Don't give your problems that much importance that it does not feel like going away from you".  Neglect it  don't make it the only purpose of your life..otherwise it will never leave you.

One peculiar thing I realized this week , I have read this in Akbar-Birbal Comic but didn't understand the deeper meaning that time.
The story goes like this...
Once THE GREAT Emperor AKBAR took a piece of paper and drawn one line on it. Then he asked his learned courtiers to make the line small without erasing the existing line. Every one looked at each other. Then Mr Intelligent (Birbal ) took the piece of paper and he draws another line bigger than the line drawn by Emperor. The first line automatically became smaller...

Whenever I am in problem. I will think OMG! this is the biggest trouble of my life..but once I encounter other bigger problem I don't take the previous problem that seriously..It happens with me..don't know about you guys..

But One thing is common for all of us..@trouble times please talk to you family, Your friends, your loved ones..
It will give you the courage to hold on and overcome the problem..

For Now Enjoy the happy times...

Zindagi Naa Milegi DooBara..

After long time today I felt like writing.
No It wasn't like I was too busy or didn’t get time for it.
My laziness is killing the blogger in me (well ! I think was trying now ).
So why I selected the tittle Zindagi Na Milegi Doobara....simply to motivate myself..to enjoy the zindagi more and more..

Well Today I will share a  small Incident with you guys as I always Do :)

----Flashback-----------
Place :Mumbai
Time : Sometime in Jul 2010
Venue  : Nirmal Life Style Mall

One Friday evening me and my friends decided to do a little bit of shopping  and hang out in the nearby mall. As usual  we decided to go to "Nirmal Lifestyle", Mulund Mumbai.

As usual the Mall was fully packed with all kinda people... kids with their parents or you can say parents with their Kids, youngsters, college crowd, office goers like us, everyone in Friday Mood.

Its the best place to some promotional event for new daily soaps, reality shows, New product , new shop...whatever.
So when we reached there as usual promotional event for some brand was going on.
A young guy with mike was calling people from the Audience to participate in different Events. He dared 5 women/girls to come up on the stage and dance in front of the crowd. Two girls came forward the guy shouted “No Other Girl in the Mall Dare to the Dance” ..No response from the audience. Then a lady came to centre –stage. The crowd started cheering her. She was wearing a simple cotton salwar kameez, hair neatly combed and tied.
The guy greeted her and ask her “Maam which song do you want me to play?”. The lady replied “Any song you like”. The guy asked the crowd now, someone from the crowded shouted “Shakira ..shakira”.
The Dj played the “Shakira ..sharika” the lady started dancing and my good lord you should have seen the energy , the grace with which she danced. She dance the whole song and crowded equally jubilant cheering her up. Once the music stoped every one clapped for her and the event manager came and handed her with the award.
The Anchor asked “Ma'am please don’t mind, can I ask you a question”.
The lady smiled and replied “sure”
The Anchor “ How Old are you?”
The Lady smiled and said “ I am 77years Young Girl”.....
Her Grey hair shining like Silver, her Twinkling eyes like a small girl , her sweet smile ..what an amazing personality till date I can see her face when I close my eyes...
We all clapped
Thats my spirit of Zindagi Naa Milegi Dubara....

Think Like a Drunkard!

“Lehron se Darkar nauka par nahin hoti,
koshish karne walon ki haar nahin hoti

Above lines from Harivansh Rai Banchan’s Poem stores the greatest key to success.
Success in anything you want to do.  All we need to give is honest afford from our side and keep our mind calm and cool.
Some days ago I attended a lecture by his Holiness the Dalai Lama.  He didn’t speak anything which was not relevant in our every day life. He was talking about “being happy in difficult times”. The only mantra which his holiness suggested was a “calm mind”.  A calm mind can make you forget all your pains and worries  in most difficult times, it can lead you to win a battle against mighty enemy easily.
It is not very good idea to react immediately ( yeah ! I know its difficult sometimes). Once we react  to any situation or any person we are became puppets in their hands and giving our full control. Do you want to give your control to someone or some situation completely?
Then Just Chill. Every problem have a solution. The path may not be very clear but our destination should be clear. Once we know our destination we should start exploring different paths instead of sitting and waiting for the time to come up with an idea, believe me its the journey not the destination that you will remember and cherish about .
In school, I had read another poem of Harivansh Rai Banchan “Madhusaala” (Bar) . He gave very nice analogy of a drunkard who finds some or other way to reach Madhusaala (Bar) and enjoy his drink. So we should be like a drunkard and find some or other way to reach our destination :)
Hey ! Don’t get me wrong  I am not saying “ start drinking “  what I mean is start thinking like the drunkard who have to strongest desire to reach madhusaala and enjoy his (her J ) drink

Direct dil se..

This is direct dilse..no thought no thinking involve.
IS being SINGLE so bad Huh?....
Suddenly everyone popping up the same question "Shadi ( means marriage yaar!) kab kar rahi ho.. BF friend toh hoga tumhar..blah blah ...
Can you beat this one old friend of mine suddenly ask me "shadi kab kar rahi ho" . I said "No idea". You have BF. I said 'NO" after long pause "will you became my GF". I said  "if u don't have GF and I don't have BF does not mean that I will become Your GF".
Go #%^^###
I AM HAPPY BEING SINGLE.
I don't want any stupid fool to play with my emotion and then one fine day give some third class excuse to end a relation which means nothing for him. Its all S%^&.  I don't want to waste time and energy for any hopelessly idiotic person then. people just make you fool and play with your bloody emotion.
IF you don't have the dare to face the consequences and to bear the aftermath. PLEASE PLEASE don't spoil anyone's life for heaven sake.

BE SINGLE BE HAPPY.. No sad songs in life, No tears , No Agony Aunt's help. 14th Feb is around the corner! but man best thing to do is love urself , love life and enjoy it. Instead of wasting it for some fool..

I am apologetic about using such blunt and unparliamentary langauge.. but this is direct dil se..

i will never destory it: The Third Gender

i will never destory it: The Third Gender: "I am writing
about a very unusual topic, a topic which sometimes disturbs my thinking and
even my existence as an human bein..."

The Third Gender

I am writing about a very unusual topic, a topic which sometimes disturbs my thinking and even my existence as an human being.
It’s about the Third Gender - neither man nor woman. In India and south Asia they are also known as Hijra. Originated from an Arabic word meaning “migration”.
I had seen them only in Hindi Movies when I was in Arunachal Pradesh. I think first time I have seen Hijras in local train from Kolkata to Kharagpur while doing onboard surveys. I was very excited and curious to see them. They crossed me but didn’t ask for any money may be because I was a student or may be because I am a girl. But I had seen in movies that we should never take curse from any Hijra and give them money because their blessing also very very effective. So I voluntarily handed one of them 20 bucks and ask her to bless me for a CGPA greater than 8 this semester.
+++++++
My second and closest encounter with one of them was when I and my friend poonam got into a general compartment of a train coming from Hyderabad. We were returning from her place from baramaati (Maharashtra) to pune. There was no other seat so we had to share the berth with a Hijra and we got to know that she will be getting down only in Pune.
My friend was very scared even I feeling very uneasy and uncomfortable sitting next to a Hijra. Just praying that either she change the compartment or we get some other place and desperately looking for other place to seat and there was none. There was a disgusting feeling of superiority running inside me.
Anyways we travelled 3 hours without talking to her (the Hijra) which normally I don’t do and reach pune and travel back to Mumbai. Later that night I had a very strange feeling running in my mind.  I was feeling that what kind of a hypocrite I am? One hand I am giving Hijra money to take her blessing and on the other hand I mind even sitting next to one of them.
I say I believe in equality of living being but I feeling shame and uneasiness sitting next of Hijra.  Whole night all these thoughts were running on my mind, I was ashamed of myself. I was disgusted with the thought that made me think that I am superior creature.
But after that incident my whole attitude towards them changed. I started considering them as one of us. Now I give them money not because I am scared of taking any curse from them or I need any blessing just because I know still today in the society where I live people don’t consider them as equal human being.
They are not given the equal rights as you and me. Forget the fundamental rights they are not even given the human rights. We need to change all these crap. We Indians are now going through a phase of renaissance. We need to bury these kinds of old/outdate customs. Let us work and walk side by side to make a beautiful and colourful nation. Respect them, give them equal opportunity in education, jobs and other fields.
I would very happy if you share your thoughts on this. I have tried to put my very limited understanding in the blog.

India is my country and indians are my brother and sister!

India..26th Jan 2011 00:00

Tell me Guys which type of Indian you are?
If you didn’t understand what I am asking it’s good for all of us and if you have an answer please let me know. The other day I went to a parlour and I ended up realizing a very strange feeling. The beautician thought me as a Chinese Indian.
She told me ‘Madam all the big parlours and saloons hire girls from you place or north Indian girls, they don’t hire Indian girls. It was first time in my life my fellow countrymen oops! countrywomen was considering me as Chinese Indian and herself as Indian.BTW she was a domicile of state of Karnataka.
Strangely in Mumbai also, there were many types of Indians - south Indians, north Indians, Guju Indians, Bhaiya Indian and the locals who were the Indians there.
When I was a child in Arunachal Pradesh, there also locals use to consider themselves as Indians and rest as Bihari Indians, Madrasi or South Indians, Punjabi Indians, tribal and non-tribal Indians.
Later when I was in Kharagpur, west Bengal there were also two types of Indian – Bengali Indians and non-Bengali Indians.
Recently when I moved to Bangalore, I got a new apartment near a school. Every morning I hear kids taking Indian pledge which we use to take in school ‘I am an Indian , India is my country , All Indians are my Brother and Sister’. In school I use to feels these lines very funny.  I never took a pledge that Gayatri di and Muli are my sisters. Do anyone of you?
But with so many different types of Indians in one India, now I can make out why in schools we were asked every morning to take this pledge. But one thing which liked everywhere was that people considering themselves as Indian irrespective of considering others as whatever Indian and I think it’s the beauty of India and Indians.
India is like a garden with different flowers everywhere and it’s the different colours that make this garden most beautiful and evergreen. Irrespective of our types the soul is that we are INDIANS and we will work to make INDIA different from all the other Types..
Cheers to Republic of India and Indians...

koshish karne walon ki haar nahin hoti

This is for all the people who dare to dream and dare to make their dream a success..
 Harivansh Rai Banchan' s Poem

Lehron se Darkar nauka par nahin hoti,
koshish karne walon ki haar nahin hoti

Nanhi cheenti jab daana lekar chalti hai,
chadhti deewaron par, sau bar phisalti hai.
Man ka vishwas ragon mein saahas bharta hai,
chadhkar girna, girkar chadhna na akharta hai.
Akhir uski mehnat bekar nahin hoti,
koshish karne walon ki haar nahin hoti.

Dubkiyan sindhu mein gotakhor lagata hai,
ja ja kar khali haath lautkar aata hai
Milte nahi sahaj hi moti gehre paani mein,
badhta dugna utsah isi hairani mein.
Muthi uski khali har bar nahin hoti,
koshish karne walon ki haar nahi hoti.

Asaflta ek chunauti hai, ise sweekar karo,
kya kami reh gayi, dekho aur sudhar karo.
Jab tak na safal ho, neend chain ko tyago tum,
Sangharsh ka maidan chhodkar mat bhago tum.
Kuch kiye bina hi jai jaikar nahin hoti,
koshish karne walon ki haar nahin hoti

Strange Lines Funny Lingo

In daily life we come across so many funny lines and strange lingos. Sometimes it has great impact on your mind and pura "chemical locha ho jata hai". I am putting some which I could recollect and will keep on adding
The first lines were told my one of my classmate in class VI and had a great impact on my life and I think this is the best line I ever heard (even better than Hollywood movies). It also shaped me as a person I am today and how I perceive others.
Iri Dorji: “This pen is so beautiful but without ink it is good for nothing” pointing his new made in china ink pen. Oh BTW he was referring to his Ex-Girl friend
Kaveri:  “We don’t have to be so Sad as Principal Sir is not going to heaven; he is just transferred to new school” class 6th during principal’s farewell function. Principal Sir almost got heart attacked and was about to go to heaven
Keya: “Yaar! Yeh Lau Kitna Kaamur de raha hai”; OK It simply means that idiot is irritating so much.BTW referring to Some GL (Guest Lecturer ) in some class. Most recently gotta know thats Kaamur dena is equivalent to zeher and Kaamur is know as Zeheri, Nagraj..blah blah.
Vika:  “ Ish Umar aur Time me Hum Sab log tumko khalnayak lage” warning Mita not talk to a Guy whom We didn’t like but Mita had a serious crush on him in College
My line : “You are not mature enough to understand my maturity” I said to Anu when she thought that I was being very immature and now she uses the same lines when having a verbal war with her husband :P
Dinu: “I know Aaj, I know Kal but what is this Aaj Kal “ When we forcefully took him for ‘Love Aaj Kal ‘. Oh BTW Dinu is still trying hard to learn Hindi but I know its a Life-long process for him J
Mrits: “ Bhabhiji ka call hai aapki Beti roo Rahi hai”  To Vijay when he was trying to impress new Joined IBM colleague Subho  in project.  Subho ‘ Vijay You are married and have a kid too . It was a great stress buster in the crucial project release.
My and Rashmi’s  Favourite ‘Oh My God Hogaya’  when things just go 180 degrees  the way we planned.
Vinita’s hyderbadi Estyle baata like “Maloom kya, Bhaijaan kya bolti, bhai bol neka Ya Jaan Bol neka! ”
Gunjan :  ‘Dil Gawahi nahi deta’  whenever she had to say no in a very polite manner. Once her heart will not give Gawahi  not even God can convinced  her

Muls : ‘ Tema Garam’ means very very angry (BTW Tema means container in Assamese, its simile for Head’)

Jaldi Karo............

Today morning again I got to hear the same lines from Mom which I heard so many times from her, aunts, uncles, my teachers and my Friends.  And I thought of writing this. The Lines are ‘why you are always in Hurry,Sab Kam jaldi jaldi kyu?  Be slow , sab aaram se karo .blah blah ............! Slow and Steady wins the race”.
I was thinking very hard ‘How to become slow and steady?’ Anyone have the formula to become ‘slow and steady’.
Even when I look back to my life I start believing that God has programmed my life and me like that. I was born 2 month prior to my actual estimated time of birth when I was seven months old I never asked god why were you in hurry?
Started going to school with mom even before I could speak properly, but never ask mom why you were in hurry?
My teachers increase my date of birth further by couple of months so that I was eligible for my 10th exams. I never asked my teachers why you were in hurry. I could have waited one more year.

Just want to say that it’s you guys who have programmed me like that and now you are asking ‘why in hurry?’
Moreover ‘Slow and Steady wins  Funda holds no longer.
Jaldi Karo , Jaldi Shiko, jaldi  Samjho.. world ke bahoot problems solve Jaldi Hogi  :p
